Community Evangelism

Noonday Baptist churches are known for our commitment to world missions. Jesus also commands us to be involved in sharing Him with others in our own particular Jerusalem:
 

But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.           Acts 1:8

What is Community Evangelism?

Community Evangelism is meeting needs in our communities as missionaries to our neighbors. Noonday Baptist Association provides community evangelism resources to assist our churches in this effort.Noonday churches are finding many ways to be involved in their communities:

Noonday Churches and Local School Mentoring
 
Noonday Churches can be a catalyst for building a culture of mentoring.  Here are two ways you and your church can be a part of the mentoring movement in your community's schools:
 
Three Noonday churches are meeting the mentoring need in their neighborhood's elementary schools by partnering with Kids Hope  USA.  Through the creation of church-school partnerships, KHUSA pairs church members with at-risk kids in supportive, mentoring relationships.  To learn more click HERE or contact Lisa Joyner.
